Christopher M Calabrese is a lifelong dogman. As a young child, he spent his summers working for his Aunt, an AKC breeder of merit of Siberian Huskies. His first personal dog, Dozer, was a Boxer who sparked his love for working mastiff breeds. When he later met his first Cane Corso it was an instant obsession, and the passion behind DiCalabrese Cane Corsos was born. In 2017 he was able to acquire our foundation female, Mia Valentina. In the short time since, DCCC has produced 12+ AKC Champions (CH), Grand Champions (GCH), and dogs with working titles — including the 2022 number one bitch in the country overall. Our dogs have earned titles in French Ring (FR), dock diving, barn hunt, rally, and trick training. He is also an active member of the Cane Corso Association of America (CCAA) and serves as a member of the Sports & Performance Committee.
In addition to running the breeding and whelping operations of DiCalabrese Cane Corso, he is an active competitor in bite sports, with a focus on French Ring (FR) in his personal dogs. He is the founder of Evolve Canine Academy, his professional dog training business in Moreno Valley, California. Through Evolve, Christopher offers board and train, private lessons, and protection sport preparation on a limited basis.
